Aravind Akash said that he was not scared in doing the gay role in the film Goa. While speaking about this, he said,” I have donned the role of a gay person in the film Goa. There are lot comments and criticisms about this. I am not worried about this. Supreme Court itself has given verdict in favor of gays. They are also human beings. This film is about youngsters who encounter problems in Goa. Sampath and me have donned the role of gays. The films Kadhale Samrajyam, Kadhale Kavasam and Rasikkum Seemane in which I have acted is ready for release. I have also acted in Malayalam and Telugu films. Goa is my 24thfilm. I am not for hero roles. If I get the opportunity I will do the hero role. I will act in any roles in my best way. If I earn a good name that itself is enough.”
