Sathyaraj says that people will not relish if he does hero roles

Sathyaraj while speaking during the audio launch of Guru Shishyan said,” MGR has sung the song Nee Unnai Arindhal Ulagathil Poradalam which means if you know yourself you can struggle in this world.

Accordingly I have understood myself. In future I myself will not see the film in which I have done the lead role. Then how can you expect audience to see my film. The time has come for me to change. I will not act as hero. That doesn’t mean that I will act in small roles.

I will do the roles which will have equal importance as the heroes. There should be at least 40% importance for me equivalent to the hero. In this way I have acted with Sundar C in this film.

For a film to be successful, it does not require hero, heroine or punch dialogues. A good story is enough.” Producers Council president Ramanarayanan, secretary Sivasakthi Pandian, FEFSI president G C Guganathan, directors Badri, Perarasu, Selvabharathi, Ponvannan, Bharath, Kushboo, Saranya, Producer H Murali and music composer Dina took part in this event.
