Karunas received a threatening call saying that he should not go to Sri Lanka. The phone number has been traced. The number is registered in the name of one Kanchana.

Now the police is after her. Karunas was supposed to go to Sri Lanka to fulfill a vow in the Kadhirgamam Murugan temple. This is family deity. But some of the Tamil sympathizers have objected him going to Sri Lanka.

Karunas received threatening calls and SMSs that he will be murdered if he proceeds to Sri Lanka. Karunas preferred a complaint with the Police Commissioner. The police registered the case and started investigating the matter.

During the investigation it was found that the number was pertaining to one Kanchana residing in Saligramam. So the police will be nabbing Kanchana and conduct an enquiry.
