Samira Reddy says,” I am a great fan of Gowtham Menon. Though my role was small in Vaaranam Aayiram, I got lot of fans because of him. I love Gowtham Menon.”

Samira Reddy was a glamour doll in Bollywood but Gowtham Menon made her dress modestly in the film Vaaranam Aayiram and showed her as a beautiful angel. Because of this film, Samira Reddy had got a good name in Tamil cinema. Now again she is acting in Gowtham Menon’s film. The film is being produced by Gowtham Menon and is titled Nadunisi Naaigal. Samira Reddy eyes widen when she speaks about this film.

She said,” You will see a different Samira Reddy in this film. This film will create great thrill in the theatres. This film and I will be much spoken. I am not interested in glamour roles alone. I like to journey in everything.

Padmapriya while speaking to the media recently said that she is giving importance to commercial films. She said,” I have acted in lot of films for the satisfaction of my mind. I have got lots of awards for acting in these films.

But there is recognition and importance for the actresses who act in commercial films. So I have decided to act in commercial films for the next few years. I had acted in a Hindi film which had good storyline. I also earned a good name. After this I got similar film offers. But I rejected about five such films.

I am ready to act in glamour roles. After being recognized as commercial heroine I will act in other types of film. Then only I wil be successful.”

The South Indian Film Industry boycotted the IIFA function held in Sri Lanka because the Sri Lankan Government had murdered thousands of innocent Tamilians. The South Indian film federations requested all the actors not to participate in that function. Actors from Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries did not participate as requested.

At this point of time,Asin had gone to Sri Lanka to participate in the shooting of the Hindi film Ready. This has created a big controversy for Asin. So some people have been telling that action should be taken against her. So Asin in an explanation has said,” I cannot decide the place of shooting. Only the producer and director have to decide it.

I have already received the advance and have agreed to act in the film. I have gone to Sri Lanka to do my job. After going there I have also met the people who have been affected by the war and helped them.”

Trisha made her debut in Hindi through the film Khatta Meeta. The film has been released and is running in the theatres. Since she paired with the leading actor Akshay Kumar, she is getting lot of offers. She has been signed to act with Akshay Kumar in another film.

After completing Kamal Haasan starrer Manmadha Ambu, she will start concentrating in Hindi films. There is news that she bought a house in Mumbai to stay there and act in lot of films. Trisha while speaking about this said,” I like to stay in Mumbai.

I will decide on this according to the reception I get in the Hindi film world. But family will not come out of Chennai. Nobody in Chennai speaks Hindi. Because of this I found it difficult to speak and act in Hindi. I have lot of Tamil and Hindi films in hand. I am also getting lot of offers in Hindi. I am acting in the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya.”
