Actress Meena had got married to the Bangalore based software engineer Vidhyasagar in the month of July 12^th at Tirupathi. This was an arranged marriage by their parents.

Meena continued to act in films after her marriage. There were rumors that there were difference of opinions between Meena and her husband and mother-in –law because of her acting. It seems they were against Meena’s acting after her marriage and they were going to part ways.

When Meena was asked about this, she said,” I am happily leading my married life with my husband in Bangalore. Some unwanted people are spreading rumors about me and my married life unnecessarily. My husband is very badly hurt by these rumors.

When I was busy in acting, they used to spread rumors. Is it justified to spread rumors even after my marriage? Is it not fair for a girl who entertained people through acting in films to live happily after her marriage? Is there no humanity? At least now people should understand this and stop spreading rumors about me.

My husband and my mother-in-law are taking care of me lovingly. Even now also they have not told me to act in films. After my marriage, I have reduced acting in films. I am only acting in films which has good story.
