There are certain times, where few movies cross beyond the language barriers and boundaries turning to be blockbuster hits. Last year, it was Arjun Reddy that turned to be an immense blockbuster. The movie was produced at a small budget of just 5Cr and it spanned a huge box office hit of grossing with 50Cr and above.
Now the film is getting remade in Tamil as ‘Varma’, which marks the debut of Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv in lead role. Director Bala is wielding the megaphone for this film, which has now resumed the second schedule of shooting.
Meanwhile, Vijay Devarakonda happened to interact with the press and media channels during the promotional event of Mahanadhi, which is titled as Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil. When asked about the sequel ideas of Arjun Reddy, Vijay Devarakonda said, “Yes, we are planning to proceed and continue with the film. Arjun Reddy at 40yrs could be the sequel’s plot and let us see how the ideation translates into the final draft.” When it comes to Kollywood, Vijay Devarakonda makes his debut out here with the movie ‘NOTA’, which is directed by Anand Shankar of ‘Irumugan’ fame.
