At the moment, Prabhu Solomon is engaged in directing the film ‘Kumki-2. During this juncture, he is now committed to direct a new film titled ‘Haaathi Mere Saathi’, which will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
While the director is busy in completing the final stages of Kumki-2, the information is gathered that the director Prabhu Solomon is all set to direct the ‘Baahubali’ fame Rana Daggubati. It is informed that an elephant acts in a prominent role just like as in the movie Kumki-2 and that most of the shooting of this film is being scheduled in Thailand.
Though Kumki-2 and Haathi Mere Saathi revolves around an elephant, it is learned that both the stories are completely different from each other.
The fans may recall the film named Haathi Mera Saathi was 1st produced by the famous Devar Films in 1971 and was a phenomenal success. Rajesh Khanna had acted as the hero with one of a team of 4 elephants in a prominent role.
However, it is still to be clarified whether the new Haathi mere Saathi will be based on the story of the original!
