Singam 3 starring Suriya, Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles is directed by Hari and is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films. The film’s release date was initially planned up for December 16.
It was officially confirmed that both the Tamil and Telugu version will be hitting screens on the same date. But then, the producers and distributors have seemingly gone through some discussions that December 16 is slightly unfavorable as colleges and schools would have academic half yearly and semester examinations.
In accordance to this reason, the release date of Singam 3 has been postponed from December 16 to December 23 now. The film will be the continuation of second part, where Durai Singam has now become an Interpol officer and is on the mission across International maps to track down the notorious criminals.
With the film hitting screens on December 23, it would surely bring more crowds to the theatres across the globe for Christmas and New Year holidays together would make up around 7-10 days. Meanwhile, the shooting of Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam has been fast approaching and is scheduled for summer 2017 release.
