Oxford University Press has given us a lesson from our Superstar Rajinikanth.  His life from a simple conductor to Superstar has been described with excerpts from his friend Raja Bahadur who was the bus driver at that time when Rajini was the conductor.  Rajinikanth struggled during his young age because of poverty.   He worked in Bangalore Transport Services in Bangalore.  Rajini’s life form a conductor to Superstar is a part of the lesson. 

Nanjil Kumaran sent a complaint to the commissioner of Police that Asin kidnapped her maid to sale in Mumbai in red light areas.  The mother of the maid made several allegations in her complainant. 

According to her mother the maid visited her every month and likewise she visited her daughter at Asin house.  “But I did not get to meet my daughter for the past six months”.

After his critically-acclaimed film "Chennai-28", path-breaking director of 2007, Venkat Prabhu, is progressing well with a woman-oriented film "Saroja". The script is simple and the artistes have given their best. It's a film based on the life of youth. This film throws light on the natural feelings of youngsters. It is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

Subramaniapuram is about what love can do to a group of happy-go-lucky friends is the crux. The highlight is that the entire movie unfolds in the early 1980s. In a nutshell, the movie is the autobiography of five youths, who live in Subramaniapuram. The sets have been carefully erected to suit the period. Intense research has been done and the costumes, which were famous during those days, have been recreated. Jay, who shot to fame with Chennai 600028, plays the lead role, while Ganja Karuppu and directors Sasi Kumar and Samuthirakani play pivotal roles.
