The alluring missy of Bollywood is now venturing into Kollywood with the flick Vaaranam Aayiram. Yes, she is none other than Sameera Reddy who is pairing up with Surya and then with Ajith in next Gowtham's film. However, after her entry into Kollywood, she has some other actress replacing her. Don't get confused. The latest buzz in the town is the remake of Hindi movie Taxi No. 9211 features Pasupathy and Anjathey fame Ajmal in the lead roles.

Seems like as though animals are quite enraged with few Kollywood actors and that is more evident with recent incidents. Day before yesterday while shooting for the film Kandasamy, actor Mansoor Ali Khan was wounded as the running horse threw him down. It was a scene where Mansoor was supposed to sit on the running horse and beat the innocent peoples. Horse was patient till few shots and with takes getting done again and again, it got frustrated and threw him down.

  54th National Awards for the best Indian films were announced today where Sanjay Dutt starrer Lagey Raho Munnabhai won the best film award. Veteran actor Soumithra Chatterji won the best actor award for a Bengali movie Podokkhep. Actress Priyamani bagged the best actress award for her stupendous performance in Paruthiveeran.

Usually its hero who will punish the bad guy for his worst deeds done, but this is the first time that an animal stands on the shoes of a hero. Jokes Apart: we will exactly depict the same scene that happened there down at shooting spots of Kandasamy. Mansoor Ali Khan plays the baddie role in this film and there is a scene where he has to beat poor people sitting on the horse in motion. Several takes were done for this shot and all of sudden, the horse got frustrated and threw him down.

Kamal Haasan's magnum opus Dasavatharam is hitting screens this Friday. Yesterday, a special screening was hosted for Chief Minister Kalainyar Karunanidhi and 15 ministers of his cabinet. The screening was held at Four Frames Preview Theatre here in Chennai. Soon after watching the movie, Karunanidhi hugged Kamal Haasan saying that he has done a wonderful job. Fine! Do you know the roles that Chief Minister liked? Of course, they are the roles that you wouldn't have known at all… Kamal Haasan has played the role of Nellai Annacchi and CBI Naidu. Though the film is action packed thriller, these two characters will cause you stomachache… Karunanidhi himself laughed to the peak while watching these characters.

Due to his prolonged absence in most of the shootings, especially in Tollywood, he has been banned now. Dasavatharam fever is catching up throughout the world with the film hitting the screens on June 13. Producer Oscar V Ravichandran has booked the most of theatres for first couple of days. If Sivaji had released in 17 centres of Chennai, Dasavatharam will open at 21 Centres… Ravichandran hasn't approached any distributors and he himself is releasing the movie.
