The India’s famous dancer Prabhu Deva has so far directed films such as Pokkiri in Tamil and couple of Telugu films and Salman Khan from Bollywood got impressed by Prabhu Deva’s talents has requested him to direct the Hindi version of the film.  While all this happening, Khan had been jailed for dear poaching. 

Even though he is on bail, Khan is busy in completing other films in Hinidi that Hindi Pokkiri has been pushed back. Telugu actor Nagarjuna has invited Prabhu Deva to direct a film, with him as the hero.  To his request Prabhu Deva excitedly working towards readying the script. 

Director Balu Mahendra in now taking part in his assistant’s occasions where he said that “his assistants are like his sons.  Director Ram invited director Balu Mahendra to release the audio for his film Tamil M.A starring actor Jeeva.   

After the occasion he launched the audio of Polladhavan.  The movie is directed by Balu Mahendra’s assistant director Vetrimaan.

The hullabaloo surrounding the Jana Gana Mana album by A.R.Rahman came to an end today, with the Chief Justice A.P. Shah and Justice Jyothimani dismissing the petition to ban the album. According to the petitioner, Mohanraj, General Secretary of Jebamani Janata Party, the music director's intention to release the album was to cash in on the national anthem.

Moreover, he alleged that the national anthem should be sung within predetermined seconds but Rahman has sung it for over seven minutes.

The judges, while dismissing the petition on both counts, said that it is the right of the citizens to sing the national anthem and it cannot be deemed as an act of disrespect. Also they gave the verdict that there is no such rule as to the stipulated

The director turned actor Cheran is ecstatic after winning two National awards for his films Aadum Koothu and Thavamai Thavamirundhu.To add more to his happiness, one of the Australian Universities has included his film Thavamai Thavamirundhu in the syllabus of its media course. The University sought Cheran's permission to add the film as a part of their syllabus.

Cheran was jubilant, and gave his approval immediately. The officials from the university told Cheran that the movie dealt with an off-beat theme, and portrayed the Tamil culture from a different perspective. It is a lesson for every human being. Thavamai Thavamirundhu featured Cheran, Padmapriya, Raj Kiran and Saranya in the key roles. The film was scripted and directed by Cheran himself.

VEDHA is a film starred by Arun Vijay. Srikanth Deva who has composed nine beautiful songs is appearing in a dance sequence. He has danced for the song VANNARAPETA PILLAYARU.

Also he added that though he is not able to make offbeat films like them, he is more thrilled to make mega-budget films. With pre-production works going for Robot, the film will soon hit the floors…
