Kanchipuram- Thiruvallur District Theatre owners association arranged an emergency meeting on the 18^th of August to demand a refund for the movie Kuselan.  They asked for a refund of 75% of the MG (Minimum Guarantee) amount that they claimed to be in the loss. 

Parts from the movie Satyam had to chopped off.  It had too many run-ons.  The trimmed bit includes a song, comedy and stunt sequence.  This 25 minutes cut was based on responses from the audience. 

Kuselan started with a good start at the box office but it is falling.  Some of the theatres are cutting down the number of shows.  Scale show Kuselan movie is a big loss compared to the movie Baba.  Reports say the big loss is due to Rajini’s explanation to the speech he gave to Karnataka.

The famous movie Taare Zameen in Hind will be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.  Actor Suriya is giving the voice of Aamir Khan in Tamil.  The Tamil version of the movie is titled Vaal Natchathiram and in Telugu Nelameedha Taaralu. 

Sathyam movie with Vishal and Nayantara is set to be released on the 14^th of August.  It got a U/A certificate.  The Telugu version got a complete A certificate.  Superstar Upendra will play a key role in Kannada. 

Report say there is another plan to remake another Malayalam movie One Way Ticket.  Prithiviraja was the hero and Mammootty did a cameo role as himself.  The store is that a superstar Mammooty coming down to the village to save his fan’s love life.
