Actor Vivek points out that we are short female comedians in Tamil cinema.  He says most of them want to become a heroine.  But after Manorama and Kovai Sarala we don’t have any. 

Unlike the female there are lot of good male comedians such as Thangavelu, NS Krishnan, Nagesh, Surulirajan, Thengai Sreenivasan and Cho. 

So, is that why he decided to do a female role in the movie?
