Director Murugadoss was arrested by police for the complaint launched against him by producer Salem S Chandrashekar. In his complaint, Chandrashekar had stated that Murugadoss didn't settle him with the amount for remake rights. Well, police had interrogation session with the director for more than couple of hours.

Over here, director stated that there are no dues pending for Salem S Chandrashekar for everything was settled right in the beginning itself. After getting proved with, police in extreme rage warned the producer not to come up with fake complaints.

Director Murugadoss is close on the heels of completing the shooting for Hindi remake of Ghajini. The film has Aamir Khan and Asin starring in lead roles. Aamir Khan selling the movie for Rs. 93 Crore has been the greatest headlines and this might have evoked Salem S Chandrashekar to come up with such silly issues.
