Lyricist Vairamuthu isn't just well-versed in penning lyrics, but his very nature of understanding the status of Tamil Cinema makes him more a genius. During the movie launch of Ayan held during yesterday at AVM Studios, he had something to comment on Kollywood.  

Speaking on the occasion, he stated that despites possessing whole lot of technicians and great innovativeness, there is wide lack of script writers. He referred the neighboring regional film industries that Malayalam film industry has a great scope for script writers and different people working on different aspects like creating story, developing it and then another one adding commercial elements with the screenplay.

This is the reason why their movies make it bigger than Tamil cinema.
