![]() We are sure it is quite funny when you hear that cinema theatres will have holiday for a day. Of course, it will be, but this isn't a joke. The fact is that all the theatres in Tamil Nadu will remain closed for the whole day. Last week, there was a serious issue when Tamilians-Kannadigas conflict broke out. As a result, the Kannadigas in Karnataka damaged the theatres over there had the screening of Tamil movies. So members of Tamil Nadu Producer Council together with South India Artists Association, Directors' Association and FEFSI have decided to host a strike on April 4 at Chepauk in Chennai and shooting of the entire movie has been cancelled. Henceforth, the entire Kollywood will be present for the occasion expressing their deep protest with the hunger strike. Sarath Kumar, President of the Tamil Nadu Actors' Association has uttered that all the actors must take part for the occasion. Otherwise, serious steps would be taken against them.
