One reason why Director Shankar opted Sujatha to pen the dialogues for his forthcoming mega-budget movie Robot was for the fact that he was the only writer in Tamil film industry, who had a wide knowledge about science fiction. Perhaps, Sujatha's novel 'Iyandhiran' that means Robot Machine inspired Shankar a lot for this project. However, his demise has not just been a great loss to Shankar, but for the entire team of Robot. Now, with Kuselan close on the heels of getting completed with its shooting, Director Shankar is also severely involved with the completion of pre-production works. Now, it has been revealed that veteran writer Balakumaran will replace Sujatha penning dialogues for this mega-budget movie.
Balakumaran earlier worked with Shankar as dialogue writer for flicks 'Gentleman' and 'Kaadhalan'
