Crossing across the wide range of problems, releasing date for Kollywood's expected blockbuster Dasavatharam has been announced. Recently after getting passed through the censor board, the officials of the committee have certified the flick with U along with 9 cuts. With accordance to the objections raised by the Hindu Committees none of their objections have been taken into account. Among the ten roles, one is said to be the staunch Vaishnavite Priest who is punished for his unbreakable faith in his God. King Kulothunga Chola of that period ties him along with the statute of the God Vishnu he worships and pushes him into sea.

Sooner, the scene shifts into the present situation of 21^st situation where the other 9 roles have got to something with a great biological weapon and a terrible natural disaster that is going to destroy the entire world.
