Dhanam has progressed as per schedule and the shooting has been completed. Sangeetha has donned the role of a prostitute. This film is a commercial film and not an offbeat film.

Kotta Srininvasa Rao. Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajalakshmi, Prem, Ilavarasu, Manobala, Raj Kapoor, Santhana Bharathi, Manojkumar, Sasi Mohan are also starring in this movie.

A laughing riot will be created by the comedians Karunas, M.S.Bhaskar, Chinna Jyanth, Singamuthu, Crane Manohar and Sigar Manohar.Illyaraja has composed seven beautiful melodies for the lyrics penned by Vaali, Mu.Metha, Vishali Kannadasan, Muthulingam and Palzhani Bharathi.

P.Lenin is editing this film while choreography was done by S.S.Balaji and Sampath Raj. S.Kausalyarani is producing this movie under the banner Sree Nandhi Medu Selliamman Movies. P.K.Govindaraj is co producing this film. Siva has penned the script besides directing the film. Plans are on to release the film this month. Audio will be released on 10 June.
