Film on Veerappan to be made Ram Gopal Varma |

It seems Veerappan the dreaded bandit is still in the minds of the people especially with our tinsel world. Prashant Pandey, who wrote Varma's latest release Sarkar Raj will be directing a new film on the life and times of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan. Ram Gopal Varma is producing this film. Varma is in the process of scripting the film. He met the late smuggler's wife Muthulakshmi to discuss the storyline.
The film will dwell on how Veerappan grew to be a cunning and monstrous outlaw and the men in uniform who were after him and finally killed him. Newcomers will be cast in this movie. This film will be made in Tamil and Hindi.
