The shooting of the Endhiran which has Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead role as almost been completed. Shankar decided to include one or two extra scenes for this film.

So it was decided to shoot the scenes in Delhi. Locations for the shooting were also selected. Police permission was also sought for the shooting. But the police after examining the details refused to give permission on the grounds of possible attack of terrorists.
