A racy fight sequence was shot in Bangkok. Martial Arts Master in Thailand said,” Normally Indian actors will use dupe for stunt scenes. But Vijay surprised me without using a dupe.” He has given a shield to Vijay.
Some pucca fighting sequences have been shot in the moving train in Mettupalayam. In one of the scenes Vijay jumped from the train which no one expected. So when the crew asked him that why he did it, he said,” Had I mentioned that I will jump, you would not have permitted me. That is why I surprisingly jumped.”
When the shooting was going on in Mettupalayam, there use to be crowd to witness the shooting. Vijay used to speak to them with mike.
The shooting for a song sequence was also held in a dense forest in Poona. So all of them camped in a tent in the forest. One night lots of snakes started visiting the tents. The crew members were startled. But Vijay boldly said that he will sleep with the crew members in that tent.
