Vishal who made his debut as a hero in Chellamae acted in Sandai Kozhi, Thimiru, Thamirabarani, and Malaikottai which turned out to be great hits.

After these he acted in Sathyam which was utter flop. After this flop, Vishal is currently acting in Thoranai. This film is directed by Sabha Ayyappan. Vishal’s brother Vikram Krishna is producing this film. This film is to be released shortly.

Vishal spoke to the media in connection with this. He said,” Thoranai is my 8th film. The Telugu version is titled Pistha. I hope this film will be hit in Tamil and Telugu. The story is about a brother from a village who comes to the city in search of his elder brother.

The reason for me to act in this movie is because of the story and screenplay. I have acted in action films. In Thamirabarani I have acted in comedy scenes. But in Thoranai I got the opportunity to act in full length comedy scenes. It is really a challenge for an actor to act in comedy scenes.

If he is able to do this, he can be declared as a good actor. This film is a challenging film for me. Vishal answered the questions asked by the media.

In every film you act, there is always news linking the heroine and you. Did you fall in love with Shreya while acting in Thoranai?

Shreya is a good friend of mine. There is no romance between us. This news is also false like the earlier news.

There is talk that you interfere in the films you act?

There is a lot of difference between showing interest and interfering. People mistake my interest as interference.  Intervening is completely different from giving suggestions.

Did you slap your director Ayyappan on the sets of Thoranai?

Oh really! It’s quite interesting hear. But didn’t happen in reality. Please stop your rumors.

Tarun Gopi says, you didn’t pay his remuneration for ‘Thimiru’…

If so, why is he asking me now instead of urging us during the film’s release?
