Sana Khan is able to understand Tamil but she speaks only in English. In an interview with her:

Why did you dance for a single song?

I hail from Mumbai. When I was in search of offers, I got the opportunity to dance for a song in the Tamil film E which had Jiva in the lead role. That is why I came here. I danced without twitching my face. Later on I got offers to dance for a single song in one or two films but I refused. At this juncture, I made my debut as heroine in the film Silambattam which had Simbhu in the lead role. I got a good publicity and also earned lots of fans. Later on I paired with Bharath in Thambikku Indha Ooru, with Shanthnoo in Aayiram Vilakku and in Prakash Raj’s Payanam.

There is news whenever you get a offer, you will have to get the permission of Simbhu before you accept it?

This is a good rumour. I did not even to get the opportunity to meet Simbhu after completing Silambattam. Then how can say that I am under his control. It is a good comedy. I will give my call sheet only if I get a suitable story and role.

How was experience acting with Salman Khan?

I acted with him in an advertisement film. Wow...It was a wonderful experience. Though he was a big mass hero, he moved with me with simplicity in spite of me being a new actress. There are lots of things to be learnt from him.

About Silk Smitha’s role?

I have spoken a lot about it. I saw the Hindi film The Dirty Picture which had Vidhya Balan in the lead role. I have done a lot of home work because there should not be any shade of her in my acting. I am very fond of Silk Smitha’s eyes.

You are showing excessive glamour?

There is nothing wrong in showing glamour in song sequences. It is not correct to act in glamour scenes which are purposely forced. I have not acted in these kinds of sequences. There is a thought that Mumbai girls will be ready to strip. My aim is to break this thought.

Will you migrate to Chennai?

I have a house in Mumbai. I like the atmosphere there. Moreover I am looking forward for a good situation to act in Hindi films. For this, it will be convenient for me to stay in Mumbai. Hence I will not settle in Chennai.

Will you not become the daughter-in-law of Tamil Nadu?

I am speaking about cinema while you are speaking about my future. Whatever happens today is the truth. Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow. I have faith in God and I will accept his commands.

Don’t you have faith in marriage?

I cannot say like that. Marriage is a marvellous thing. My opinion is that a girl’s life comes to full realization only after her marriage. Maybe I don’t have faith in love marriages but I have faith in arranged marriages. It will take four years for me to get married.

What kind of bridegroom are you expecting?

I am expecting an innocent groom. I want to follow the policy" We two ours two" So I want a boy and girl baby respectively.
