 How did Bhagyaraj select you?

In the year 2007 when I was studying Plus 2 I participated in the Miss Chennai competition and secured the third place. I also won the Miss Photogenic title. Bhagyaraj who saw me took the screen test. Since he was satisfied he made me pair with his son Shanthanoo in the film Puthiya Vaarpugal. Later on the title of this film was changed as Siddhu Plus. I spoke in my own voice.

Selvaraghavan making is of a different genre. Will it suit you?

Why not? How long will I continue to be like this? That is why I have chosen this. I have never paved my path. All this happened because of my first film director Jeeva. After completing my computer education, I was supposed to go to America but director Jeeva caught hold of me and asked me to act in Ullam Ketkumae. He said, "Do this film well and you will like cinema." I never knew anything. I did what he said. After this I got very much interested in cinema as mentioned by him. Instead of going to America, I became a full time actor. I feel that I should act in good films. Erandam Ulagam will be definitely such a one. I am confident that I will be going to next level after this film. I like the way Selvaraghavan makes this film. I have gained lots of experience. I am fully satisfied with him and his film. This film will be new to Tamil cinema.

There are lots of comments that this girl only knows to laugh but as per the statistics of Kollywood, Hansika is hit hot heroine of Tamil film industry. She is currently acting in Settai, Vettai Mannan and Singam 2.

We are calling you ‘Small Kushboo’ but there is news that you are going to America for slim treatment. Is it true?

Very sorry! It is true that I am going to lose weight but I am not going to America. I will become slim if I walk in Anna Nagar. Now I am busy in action and dance. I am also reducing my weight by jogging and doing yoga.

Saguni has been released in Thangam theatre in Madurai. Day before yesterday Karthi along with director Shankar Dayal had been to that theatre to interact with his fans.
