From the time, message about Vijay watching ‘Chota Mumbai, there have been constant buzzes that one or other of films would be a remake of this flick. And now, as major portions of ‘Sura’ being shot across the backdrops of Kerala, rumors have spread that it’s a remake of Malayalam movie ‘Chota Mumbai’. But director S.P.

Rajkumar has denied them calling it as baseless rumors as he adds further saying, ‘there aren’t similarities between these films as the characters of protagonists and nature of plot is completely different’.

Anil T who produced Padagasalai is now producing a film titled Aarvam under the banner Movie Dreams. This film is directed by Adityan.  

While speaking about this film, he said,”  Sathya and R Sanjay who did the hero roles in Padagasalai are also doing the lead roles in Aarvam.

K R Vishwa is producing and directing a film titled Kadhalagi . Krishnakumar, Shrishti Dange, Ajay, Amrita Sabapriya, Roshan Nawas, Natchatara, Prakash Raj and Vijayagopal are starring in this film.

Ravi Sankaran is handling the camera and the dialogues are penned by C P Narayanan. A R Rehana has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Vairamuthu. Thaman S is composing the back ground score.

Director K R Vishwa while speaking about this film said,” Things have changed amongst the lovers about the view of love and the way they express their love.

A girl who does not believe in God and a youth who believes in God meets. Romance blossoms. But the youth turns down the love. But a person who loves this girl is murdered.

The youth who believes in God is held responsible for this murder. What happens in the end is the story of the film Singa Mugam. Aiysha, Praveen, Alex and Aarumugam are jointly producing this film under the banner Friends Pictures. Haneefa and Deepan are the two heroes of this film.
