Prabhu Deva is remaking the super hit Vijay starrer Ghilli in Hindi. Now Prabhu Deva is being called as remake king after Jayam Raja. He has become a famous director after remaking Telugu and Tamil hit films.
He remade Telugu Pokkiri in Tamil with the same title. In Hindi he made this film with the title Wanted which had Salman Khan in the lead role. This film was also a hit. Now he is remaking the Vijay starrer hit film Ghilli in Hindi which will have Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. He will commence the shooting of this film in the year 2010 after completing Jayam Ravi starrer Paris.
