Venkat Prabhu will be directing Ajith’s 50^th film. Currently Ajith is acting in Asal produced by Shivaji Pictures and directed by Saran. Most of the shooting is over and only one song sequence is remaining to be shot.

This film is to be released on the month of January. This film is Ajith’s 49^th film. There was a great speculation going on that who will be directing his 50^th film. Lot of director’s name was under consideration. Now it is confirmed that Venkat Prabhu will be directing his 5oth film.
