Having scored big with his editing techniques, Anthony is all set to come up with a new avatar. Yeah! The editor has been planning to direct a film for past few years and has decided to commence his directorial venture by end of this year. Anthony made his debut an editor with Gowtham Menon’s ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ and apparently won more offers in various languages including Aamir Khan’s ‘Ghajini’. Now, he’s busy working simultaneously on Rajnikanth starrer ‘Endhiran’, Gowtham’s ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’, Vijay’s ‘Madrasapattinam’ and more.
Says Anthony: ‘It’s really enjoying to work on various genres. Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya is a straight forward romantic story that is so plain and close to heart. There isn’t any artificiality like grand sets, larger than life ingredients and more. On pars, ‘Endhiran’ is going to be a mega hit film in the history of Tamil film industry and Madrasapattinam is a period film with a different treatment on technical arenas… He will soon direct a film with a script penned by director Vijay of ‘Kireedom’ and ‘Madrasapattinam’ fame.
