“It is directors job to make profits for the producers”, says Badri

Director Badri who had directed Aiyndham Padai, Veeraappu is currently directing the film Thambikku Indha Ooru. While speaking to the media, he said,” Each director has got his own style and way. My style is commercial.

I can also direct film based on nativity. But it is always good if one travels in the way they like. I am not directing films for hero sake.

In am directing films for producers sake. It is the duty of the director to yield profit to the producers who believe us and invest money.

I am not worried if I don’t get the name but my producer should get the profit. I will take risk investing my own money if I want to make different kind of films and win awards.

With regard to Thambikku Indha Ooru, the film has the ingredients of romance, glamour, comedy and other commercial elements. Bharath who have been so far as a village youth or a laptop youth can be seen in a different kind of role.

Though we have used the Rajni starrer title for this film, this has got nothing to do with this film.
