 From the time, message about Vijay watching ‘Chota Mumbai, there have been constant buzzes that one or other of films would be a remake of this flick. And now, as major portions of ‘Sura’ being shot across the backdrops of Kerala, rumors have spread that it’s a remake of Malayalam movie ‘Chota Mumbai’. But director S.P.
Rajkumar has denied them calling it as baseless rumors as he adds further saying, ‘there aren’t similarities between these films as the characters of protagonists and nature of plot is completely different’.
As known earlier, this film happens to be Vijay’s 50th film and is acquired by Sun Pictures slated to hit screens for this summer. Already the posters have been published on all media channels and Sun will start airing the promos shortly. The film has Dev Gill of ‘Magadheera’ fame in negative role while Thamannah performs the role of Vijay’s love interest.
