Five films to hit the screens on Festival of Lights day

The Producers Council have being instructing the producers to release high budgeted films during festive seasons and to release small budgeted films at ordinary times. On 18th October on the occasion of Deepavali, the films Mersal, Gulebakavali, Nenjil Thunivirunthal, Solli Vidava and Hara Hara Mahadevaki   are being released.

 

The post-production works are going on in rapid pace. The allotments of theatres for these films have already begun.

 

The film Mersal has Vijay in the lead role. Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, S. J. Suryah, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Sunil, Sathyan, Misha Ghoshal, Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Hareesh Peradi, Rajendran, Cheenu Mohan and Shanmuga Singaram   are starring in the film. A R Rahman is composing the music while G. K. Vishnu is handling the camera. Reuben is taking care of editing.  N Ramasamy and Hema Rukmani are producing the film under the banner Thenandal Studios Limited. For the first time Vijay is donning triple roles. Recently the audio launch function was held in a grand manner.

Festival of Lights day

Gulebakavali has Prabhu Deva and Hansika in the lead roles. Kalyan is directing this hilarious flick. The title has been borrowed from MGR’s film which was released in the year 1955. It has been mentioned that there are some sequences linking the old Gulebakavali with the new Gulebakavali.

 

Nenjil Thunivirunthal is a film which has Vikranth, Sundeep Kishan, Soori, Mehreen Pirzada, Harish Uthaman and Appukutty in the cast. Suseenthiran has directed the film.

 

Solli Vidava is a film which has Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya and Kannada actor Chandan Kumar in the lead roles. This film has been directed by Arjun. This romantic story is being produced in Tamil and Kannada.

 

Hara Hara Mahadevaki is a film which Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani in the lead roles. Santosh Jayakumar has directed this romantic comedy flick.
