Rukmani who donned the role of Rajni’s sister

Tamil Actress RukmaniBangalore girl Rukmani had acted in the films Bommalattam and Ananda Thandavam. After a long hiatus, she has donned the role of Rajni’s sister in Kochadaiyaan.

When asked her that how she got this opportunity, she said, " The classical dance Bharatanatyam which I had learnt got me film opportunities. The films I had acted gave me the scope to bring out my dancing skills.

Everyone appreciated me but I did not get any offers. So I went back to Bangalore and started taking care of my dance school. All of a sudden, Rajni’s daughter Soundarya contacted me and asked me that whether it was possible for me to don the role of Rajni’s sister. I immediately gave my nod. During the shooting Rajni moved with me very affectionately as if I was his own sister. I can never forget this in my life time."
