Director Lingusamy says that he has faith in the story

After Kumki, Vikram Prabhu has been signed for the lead role for a film to be directed by Saravanan who had earlier directed the super hit film Engeyum Eppodhum.

There is a similarity between Kumki and this film. Tirupathi Brothers who produced Kumki are producing this film also.

Tirupathi Brothers has produced a high budgeted film titled Kumki which has Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in the lead role. The climax scene has two elephants clashing with each other.

This was done using graphic technology. It has been decided to release Kumki on Deepavali day. Though high budgeted films like Thuppaki and Vaalu are being released for Deepavali, Tirupathi Brothers are not worried about it.

Lingusamy while citing the reason said, " I have great faith in the story of Kumki and the people."

Lingusamy who was holding talks with Arya and Vishal for the lead roles in the film to be directed by Saravanan has now signed Vikram Prabhu. G V Prakash is composing the music for this film.

Vikram Prabhu is very happy because Tirupathi Brothers who have produced his first film is also producing his second film.

Vijay doesn't know how to act or how delivery the dialogue. Suma
close the mouth not show is Pallandu delivery the dialogue. Enough man stop
that. Linguswami has value in his direction as well as producing. Why he
should afraid about Vijay Mosqiuto.
