A function was held in Chennai to release the First Look of Mugamoodi which has Jiva in the lead role. This film has been directed by Mysskin.

Many important film personalities participated in this function. The making of Mugamoodi and the trailer was screened for the guests and media.

Jiva’s hard work could be seen in the making of Mugamoodi video. 80% shooting of this film has taken place in the night.

Director Gowtham Menon, Surya, K V Anand, Kannan, Raja, Jananathan, Nasar, Dhanu, Narain and Ravi K Chandran were the chief guests.

Surya released the trailer which was received by director Gowtham Menon. Jiva’s Mugamoodi Look was also introduced by Surya.

Mysskin while speaking on this occasion said," Mugamoodi is my childhood desire. When I became a director I wanted to direct this film. Surya was supposed to act in Mugamoodi but now Jiva has acted.

Jiva’s work in this film is extraordinary. Through this film, Narain has gone to another dimension. I cannot say that I have directed a big super hero film. I have made a super hero film which will suit the Indian audience."

UTV Motion Pictures which has produced this film has decided to release it on 31st August in a grandeur manner.
