 Aascar Ravichandran is currently producing ten films. The shooting of the films Boologam, Mariyaan, I, Vishwaroopam 2, Thirumanam Engira Nikka and Vallinam are going on. Apart from this, Aascar Ravichandran will be producing a film titled Thalaivan Irukiran which has Kamal Haasan in the lead role. He will also be producing the films which will have Arjun and Vijay in the lead roles respectively. |

 Kahaani is a super hit Hindi film. Bollywood actress Vidhya Balan donned the important role in this film and also got the National Award for her best acting. This film is being remade in Tamil and Telugu now. The shooting of this remake film has begun on 28th of this month at Hyderabad. Nayanthara is donning the role which Vidhya Balan donned in the Hindi version. This film is being jointly produced by Endemol India, Logline Productions and Select Media Holdings. Sekar Kamuela is directing this film. Since this film is being produced in Tamil and Telugu languages, director Sekar Kamuela has already decided that how the Nayanthara costumes should be. |

 Actor Vishal has begun his own production house called Vishal Film Factory. Under this banner he is producing a film titled Pandiya Naadu in which he is donning the lead role. Lakshmi Menon is pairing with him. The shooting of the film which has been directed by Suseenthiran is taking place in Madurai. Scenes pertaining to Vishal and Lakshmi Menon are being shot now. There was a strong role of Vishal’s father in this film. This role is equivalent to the role of Vishal. Search was going for a suitable person to don this role. Director Bharathiraja has been selected for this role now. |

 After the super hit comedy film Kalakalappu, Sundar C was directing a film titled Madha Gaja Raja. This film had Vishal, Anjali and Varalakshmi in the cast. Since Vishal’s film Samar was released earlier, the release of Madha Gaja Raja was postponed. Now without bothering about this film Sundar C has started directing the film titled Theeya Valai Seiyanum Kumaru which had Siddarth and Hansika in the lead roles. This film is to be released soon but there is no information about the status of Madha Gaja Raja. Vishal is also busy acting in the film titled Pattathu Yaanai. It seems that he has also forgotten about Madha Gaja Raja. At this juncture Vishal’s close friends have started asking about this film. So Vishal is taking efforts to release this film on an early date.

 After completing the shooting of Thalaiva in Australia, the cast and crew has returned to Chennai. The film which has Vijay, Amala Paul, Sathyaraj and Suresh in the cast is being directed by A L Vijay. G V Prakash is composing the music while Nirav Shah is handling the camera. The crew had been to Australia for the final schedule of shooting which took place for 25 days. Vijay introductory scene, Vijay- Amala Paul romantic sequences and a song sequence was shot there. |
