 Anirudh debuted as music composer through the film 3. He became very popular throughout the world because of the song Kolaveri in the year 2012. There was news that Elred Kumar is producing and directing a film which will have music composer Anirudh in the lead role but he has denied this news.

 Yuvan Shankar Raja has sung a song for the film Mariyaan. A R Rahman has composed the music for the lyrics penned by Dhanush. When asked Yuvan Shankar Raja about singing the song composed by A R Rahman, he said, "It was a very good song. I liked his music.

 When the teaser of the film Nagaraja Cholan was released, there were talks that this film is bound to face difficulties at the Censor Board. What happened was very surprising. The Censor Board members who saw the film gave a U certificate without any cuts.
