Tamil Music Composer Vijay AnthonyMusic composer Vijay Anthony has debuted as hero through the film Naan. Rupa Manjari is donning the female lead role. Siddarth who had acted in Anandha Thandavam and Anuya is also starring in this film. Jeeva Shankar has directed this film.

The audio CD of Naan was released recently in Chennai. Vijay while speaking to the media on this occasion said, "So far I have composed music for 25 films. I was interested in acting. This has been fulfilled through the film Naan.

When I decided to become an actor, lots of people approached me with their stories but all of them were related to music. Those stories were similar to the yester year super hit films like Thillana Mohanambal. But I was not for those kid of stories. I agreed to act in Naan because I was satisfied with the story.

There is no chemistry between the heroine Rupa and me. She used to call me Anna (brother). This film materialized only because of my wife Fatima. Only the circumstances decide for a person to be good. What happens to a person if the circumstances decide otherwise is the story of Naan. The songs of Naan have come out very well."
