Dhanush-Vetrimaaran duo combo kick-started their fascinating combination of success together in ‘Polladhavan’, following which their next venture ‘Aadukalam’ won them incredible awards including the National Honours.
The duo later started producing good movies, which in turn gained international acclaims and National awards as well. Now they are back after a long time with Vetrimaaran wearing Director’s Hat and Dhanush with greasepaint in ‘Vada Chennai’, which was supposed to take off last year itself.
Now the sources claim that the shoot will commence from June 15, where huge jail sets have been erected in a studio at Chennai. Samantha and Andrea Jeremiah will be a part of this first schedule as well and Santhosh Narayanan is composing music. Initially, Vetrimaaran had planned to shoot the film in two different instalments as the story’s plot extends for a much longer phase of a boy at coming of age and how he turns into a city’s notorious gangster.
While GV Prakash has been the part of many Dhanush-Vetrimaaran movies, this is really turning out to be a shocking surprise to see that the duo has opted out and replaced him with Santhosh Narayanan.
