The actor in his recent interview with the media has mentioned saying, “If Jyotika and others tell me that I respect women, all credits go to my mom. Her way of raising us as children and her way of living made me respect every woman… I still remember the day, when I earned my first salary and gifted her sari worth 800 rupees. There was a joyful glow on her face and she immediately wore it and went to Temple.
When I had to quit my job at Textile Export Company in Ambattur to join cinema, everyone had questioned and advised my mother why should I leave the good job and join cinema. But she just told a word – “I am confident that my son will succeed.” She would fast for days before my movie release and when I ask, she tells, “I cannot teach you acting, but all that I can do is this.”
