National award winning actor Prakash Raj has been considered as one of the rarest actors who can easily carry off any roles offered to him with a much brilliant spell. Be it an unconventional dramatic characterization, gruesome baddie or a realistic protagonist, he can spark of the excellence with an impeccable performance.
This year, we saw him very much actively involved in the Tamil cinema that includes a miniscule role in ‘Thozha’, which was so promising and his other film ‘Manithan’, where he played a dashing lawyer with negative shades. Now the actor has been offered to play a priest’s role in Nivin Pauly’s upcoming film in Tamil that marks his debut, which is yet to be titled.
The film is directed by debut filmmaker Gautham Ramachandran, who had earlier assisted Rajeev Menon. It is worth mentioning that the film is a remake of super hit Kannada movie ‘Ulidhavaru Kandante’, which also features Cinematographer-actor Natty and Kannada actress Shraddha Srinath in lead roles alongside Nivin Pauly. The shooting of this film has wrapped up around 50% and remaining portions would be completed in a short span of time.
