Paiyya is a film which has Karthi and Thamanna in the lead roles is being directed by Lingusamy. The press meet was held in a star hotel in Chennai. Karthi, Thamanna, director Lingusamy, lyricist Na Muthukumar, cinematographer Mathi, dialogist Brinda Sarathi and editor Antony participated in this meet and interacted with the media. 

Thamanna on this occasion was asked some questions:  

You have paired with Surya in the film Ayan. Now you are pairing with his brother Karthi in Paiyya. With whom did you feel comfortable acting in romantic scenes?

Andrea is a very outspoken person. While speaking to the media she said;

When there is dearth for heroines, why don’t you pair with leading heroes?  

I have never thought I should pair with leading heroes. It is important for me that the story and my role should be good. I don’t even think even about my costumes or how many duet songs I am going to dance.  If the story is good, I act. 

If you have such policies, than how can you become a commercial heroine? 

Karthika is pairing with Jeeva in the film Ko directed by K V Anand. Recently she gave an interview to the media:

So you wanted to act like your mum?

I didn’t even have a bit of interest in acting in my younger days. I knew that my mother was a popular actress when I was at the age of 10 itself.
