Manobala who is currently acting in more than 25 films gave an interview to the media.
What happened to director Manobala? K S Ravikumar is the person who brought out my acting talent especially the comedian in the film Natpukaga. After this my journey as an actor continued. I preferred to do character roles with comedy. Now I am not interested in directing.
There was news that you will be remaking the Tamil film Kadhalikka Neram Illai? I have acquired the rights. Since this is two hero subjects, many heroes are not willing to act. You are seen in only small roles? Directors are the reasons for this. They ask me to appear in at least in one scene. They have a sentiment that if I act like that, the film will be a hit. Because of this I am acting in a single scene. You use to direct family stories those days. Such kinds of films are not to be seen these days? Actors don’t desire these kind of stories. That is the reason such kind of films are not being made. Your experience of acting as a college student in the film Tamizh Padam? People who saw this film are appreciating me. I have donned the role of a college student Siddarth. Many are asking me to do such kind of roles in my forthcoming films. I am doing a role wearing jeans and T shirt in a film titled Puzhal. There is news that you have started a production house? Yes. I have started a production house Manas Vision, I am producing a film directed by Cheran’s assistant Aslam. Selection for the actors are going on. The shooting of the film will commence in May. I want to give quality films through my production house.
