Paiyya is a film which has Karthi and Thamanna in the lead roles is being directed by Lingusamy. The press meet was held in a star hotel in Chennai. Karthi, Thamanna, director Lingusamy, lyricist Na Muthukumar, cinematographer Mathi, dialogist Brinda Sarathi and editor Antony participated in this meet and interacted with the media. 

Thamanna on this occasion was asked some questions:  

You have paired with Surya in the film Ayan. Now you are pairing with his brother Karthi in Paiyya. With whom did you feel comfortable acting in romantic scenes?

For the first time I had paired with Surya in Ayan in romantic scenes. I was a great fan of him before acting with him. I was little bit perturbed when acting with him for the first time. But with Karthi it is different. He always use to crack jokes and make us laugh. So it was cool acting with him. It was comfortable acting with him in romantic scenes. Both Surya and Karthi are nice. 

Are you religious?

I will go temple and worship Go. That’s all. I am not deeply involved in religions. 

What is your view about the recent sensational news about Ranjitha which is appearing in the media? 

It is Ranjitha’s personal matter. I have nothing to comment about it.

Do you feel that the image of all the actresses would spoil because of Ranjitha’s issue? 

There are Crores of people living in this world. We cannot compare one with another. We cannot say that all actresses are bad because Ranjitha has committed a mistake. 

Some actresses take pride in acting in Hindi films. What is your opinion on this?

I don’t think like that. I have got a lot of films in Tamil and Telugu. I am satisfied with my work.
