When Iru Mugan was about to release, the expectations were pretty bigger, but the trade analysts didn’t make such a prediction of bigger collection and it all exceeded their expectations with an abundant release. The film touted to be an espionage thriller was directed by Anand Shankar, who shot to fame with his debut directorial titled ‘Arima Nambi’ that starred Vikram Prabhu and Priya Anand in lead roles. Now with the film’s success, it is learnt that Anand and Vikram might come together again for one more film, which might be funded by Sudio Green Films K.E. Gnanavel Raja. Meanwhile, Vikram has also lined up some interesting projects ahead of time which includes Saamy 2 directed by Hari, a village based film directed by ‘Bramman’ fame Socrates and a dual hero film with Shankar, which will reportedly feature Vijay in another lead role.
There are also reports that Vikram might do a quickie before the commencement of Saamy 2, which could be a remake of blockbuster Hollywood movie ‘Don’t Breathe’, which is not yet confirmed officially.
