Iru Mugan gears up for censor now

Having completed the entire patch up works in the post-production phase, the team ‘Iru Mugan’ gets ready to make its best to impress the censor board film committee members now. If what we hear from the close sources is believed to be true, the film would be screened for the CBFC members by end of this week.


The film is directed by Anand Shankar and is produced by Shibu Thameems, who had earlier co-produced Vijay’s Puli. The film features Vikram in dual roles as the protagonist ‘Akilan’ an Interpol officer, who is assigned to investigate a case of narcotic drugs network by ‘Love’, again played by Vikram, which is a baddie out here.


The film’s theatrical release is scheduled on September 8 and would be having the simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. The film has musical score by Harris Jayaraj and already the songs like ‘Halena’ have turned to top charters and cinematography by RD Rajashekar is expected to be one more intriguing element of this film.
