It’s hard to find a film involving medium star-cast find such a good business in trade and every aspect too. But Sibiraj’s tomorrow release ‘Jackson Durai’ has managed to make a clean sweep over the trade circles as we hear it confirmed. It is noteworthy that much prior to the completion of the shooting, Sri Thenandal Films had bought the film’s theatrical rights for a whopping price and that was indeed a good sign.
Now with the film hitting screens tomorrow, there was a huge discussion on who is going to acquire the satellite rights of this film and finally we get it all affirmed that Sun TV has clinched it for a decent price. This makes it clear that Sri Green Productions, which has funded the project has managed to make a decent profit much prior to the release.
The film is hitting screens tomorrow worldwide with around 300 screens allotted in Tamil Nadu alone. For Sibiraj, whose career graph was dwindling for nearly a decade, managed to make a neat comeback through ‘Naaigal Jaakirathai’.
Jackson Durai, a horror comedy dates back to period backdrop and will be juggling between different time periods. The film has created good expectations for one more reason as Sibiraj’s father Sathyaraj appears in a much strong role as ghost and there is a huge star-cast involved like Naan Kadavul Rajendran, Karunakaran, Bindu Madhavi and few more.
