It’s obvious that when a big movie is all set for a bigger release, many try to seek publicity by fetching the credits of raising some issues. Such seems to be the issue with Kabali too, where a Bollywood actor Irfan Khan, who has been a part of few Hollywood movies, too has made a piggyback ride.
It all happened recently, when the actor raised an issue over the Kabali poster carrying the same replica of poster for his movie ‘Madari’. The Hindi poster actually carries the hero’s image juxtaposed with the tall buildings of Malaysia in the reversed style towards the sky.
Similarly, there was one such poster for Kabali too, where the Rajinikanth’s face is seen amidst the buildings in Malaysia. With the issues getting bigger and sensational over the online, immediately, the media channels started publishing their own stories.
Finally, it was producer Kalaipuli S Thanu arriving to the situation and cleared off the baseless rumours claiming that it was actually a fan made poster and ‘Kabali’ team doesn’t hold any responsibility over it. The film’s theatrical release, according to the trade circles is getting finalized for July 22 in all the languages including Malay.
