It looks like Kamal Haasan has made a strong decision of not straining much with the big budgeted movies, but instead focus on small budgeted ones with strong contents. It was so much evident last year, where he had managed to complete couple of small budget movies – Papanasam and Thoonga Vanam in a short span of time. Both the shooting of these films didn’t exceed more than 80 days and he had decided to complete his trilingual film ‘Sabash Naidu’ in a similar way, but was out of plans due to his leg injury. The actor had recently happened to watch Mohanlal’s Oppam directed by Priyadarshan, which is a suspense thriller. The film is about a blind man being held as the primary suspect of a murder and it has opened to stupendous reports. Initially, it was Superstar Rajinikanth who saw the film and due to some reasons he didn’t want to be a part of this project, but has seemingly referred Kamal Haasan to take the lead. The shooting will commence by end of this year and wrap up in 40 days.
