Kamal Haasan’s Uthama Villain remade in Hollywood

This usually happens that when a Kamal Haasan movie is released, it would be treated most of the times as ridiculous work of piece, where many wouldn’t perceive his ideas on the screens clearly. But eventually after years, it becomes a masterpiece. Such was the impact that was so much evident with movies like Anbe Sivam, Hey Ram and many more of that sort.


Now the similar scenario has occurred with Uthama Villain, which has been remade in Hollywood now. Yes, the film from Hollywood titled ‘The Hero’ is loosely based on the story of Uthama Villain and hence the makers have credited Kamal Haasan for the Writer. The film has been already garnering good response in all International Film Festivals, which is directed by Brett Haley starring Sam Elliott, Laura Prepon, Krysten Ritter and Nick Offerman in lead roles.


When there have been lots of controversial issues involving Kamal Haasan’s unofficial remake of Hollywood movies that runs into monstrous numbers, he comes up surprising the ones with his written movie ‘Uthama Villain’ being remade in Hollywood now. The film is scheduled for release on June 9.
